Meet Dr. Raj Kler, DNP, PMHNP-BC
A collaborative, whole-person approach to psychiatric care built around real conversations, not rushed checklists.
Whole-person care. Curiosity, respect, and clarity guide every visit.
Dr. Raj Kler
Dr. Raj Kler, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric provider who believes that meaningful care is built together with each patient, not delivered from behind a desk. The goal of every appointment is never simply a prescription. It is to genuinely understand what is happening in someone’s life and to build a plan that reflects their history, their goals, and what “feeling better” actually means to them. That process takes time, honesty, and a willingness to ask questions rather than assume answers.
Patients often describe working with Dr. Kler as collaborative and unhurried. Appointments are structured as real conversations rather than rushed checklists, and every recommendation, whether it involves medication, follow-up frequency, or a referral to additional support, is discussed openly before any decision is made.
Credentials and Training
Dr. Kler holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), trained to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions in adults. This training combines clinical rigor with a whole-person perspective, recognizing that mental health does not exist separately from sleep, physical health, relationships, and daily life circumstances. Ongoing continuing education keeps this approach current with evolving best practices in psychiatric care and medication management.
Values That Guide Every Appointment
Four values shape the way care is delivered here:
Curiosity — asking questions instead of making assumptions, and staying curious about what is really going on beneath the surface of a symptom list.
Respect — treating every patient’s experience, history, and preferences as valid and worth taking seriously.
Clarity — explaining diagnoses, medication options, and next steps in plain language, without unnecessary jargon.
Whole-person care — remembering that a diagnosis is only one part of a person’s story, not the whole of it.
What to Expect When You Work With Dr. Kler
Your first appointment starts with listening: a comprehensive conversation about your history, your current concerns, and what has or has not worked before. From there, care is built collaboratively. If medication is part of the plan, dosing and options are discussed together, with ongoing monitoring and adjustments as needed. If it is not the right fit, that is respected too. Follow-up appointments stay consistent and attentive, so care evolves as your life does rather than staying static after the first visit.
Above all, the goal is for every patient to leave each appointment feeling heard, informed, and genuinely involved in their own care.
